Pastoral Dimension
Our Vincentian identity
We live Vincentian spirituality with a concrete commitment to serving those most in need. This spirit of solidarity and evangelization permeates our curriculum, our relationships, and school life, making pastoral care an essential element in the formation of our students.
Mission of Educational Ministry
We accompany students, families, and staff on their faith journey, promoting:
- A living and committed faith.
- A critical conscience illuminated by the Gospel.
- A transformative spirituality based on Christian values.
We seek to form whole, compassionate people with a strong Christian identity, capable of transforming society.
Our pastoral action
Our pastoral action
- Spirituality and prayer life
We foster personal and communal encounters with God through daily prayer, Eucharistic adoration, spiritual retreats, liturgical celebrations, and spiritual accompaniment.
- Religious Education in Schools
We offer experiential and doctrinal Religion classes, with sacramental preparation led by specialized and licensed teachers.
- Pastoral care for teachers and administrative staff
Our staff also need opportunities to nurture their faith and strengthen their identity as Catholic educators and role models for students. This includes Eucharistic celebrations and times of prayer for staff, spiritual retreats during important liturgical seasons, and ongoing formation in Vincentian spirituality and charism.
- Children's and Youth Ministry
We accompany children and young people in their faith through formation, retreats, and pastoral leadership opportunities, inviting them to discover Jesus within their own reality, age, and language. We offer preparation and accompaniment for the Sacraments of Christian Initiation (First Communion and Confirmation), as well as spiritual retreats and gatherings designed according to developmental stages. We also provide formation for altar servers and pastoral leadership opportunities. Furthermore, we promote youth movements with a Christian identity and a vocation of service, such as Cougars in Action, Bright Melodies, NextGen Cougars, and EcoKids.
- Social and ecological pastoral care
Educating to serve and care is our concrete way of loving. Therefore, we foster solidarity and service to the most vulnerable, as well as care for our common home as a concrete expression of Christian love. We offer service-learning projects and community volunteering, organized by grade level. Our activities promote environmental stewardship, inspired by the encyclical Laudato Si'. We also organize solidarity campaigns and missions that involve the school community and develop empathy and commitment.
- Evangelization in Educational Practice
Pastoral care permeates everything. From monthly values to school celebrations, every space is an opportunity to live the Gospel. The pastoral motto serves as a guiding principle: Together we create a better world: with love, mercy, and service. Specific Christian values, such as hope, courage, commitment, respect, and coexistence, are practiced intentionally each month. Vincentian Week, Bible Week, and other celebrations provide opportunities for encountering faith.
A Community that Walks in Faith
The pastoral care of our school calls us to live the Vincentian charism as a way of life. Inspired by Saint Vincent de Paul, we aspire to be witnesses of the Gospel through love, mercy, and service, becoming agents of change committed to building a more humane and profoundly Christian world.
